Congo-Kinshasa Congo-Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo) is a country located in the dense jungles of central Africa. DRC is playable from July 1 1960 to the present day.

Kongo-Kinshasa used to be a colony of Belgium Belgium, but the story why, is very interesting. The King of Belgium, Leopold II, privately owned the Congo himself; not the state of Belgium. Upon Leopold II's death, the government of Belgium was forced into a situation where they had no choice but to administrate Leopold II's territory in Africa.

What's also interesting is that during WW2, once Germany Germany had completely occupied mainland Belgium, the Belgian government was exiled to the Congo where they remained until the Allies liberated European Belgium from the Axis.
